So I bought a Morphe Palette...

Image
I have always been on the side of "I will never buy into those cheap looking palettes" when it comes to Morphe. I see big beauty gurus pushing the brand and I found it such a big turn off. We get it, you get sent the products and you have to say something about it, and because it's not anything negative, it's ok because you've still said something, and you'll continue to receive products. This is what my mind was saying whenever I saw another Morphe Eyeshadow palette pop up on Snapchat or Insta-story.  I have bought brushes from the brand and they are surprisingly very well made and I use them everytime I do my eye makeup. I was on the BeautyBay website just browsing the other day and I saw that they actually have some Morphe Palettes in stock. As suspected they didn't have the famous ultimate warm orange 35O palette in stock. I don't really know what came over me but I got too intrigued to back out. This is when I decided to get the 35K (Koff...

Biggest Haul of 2017. (Beware large post).

Image
This rather large haul was acquired over a couple of months and I didn't buy it all in one go (I only wish I was that crazy). I'll start with the black box that's quite blurry in the left bottom corner, sorry about that. That is the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation in the colour N2. I have seen Desi Perkins on YouTube rave about this foundation as being hydrating yet full coverage and I wanted to go back to liquid foundations for a while now so I want to give it a go. I have tried it a handful of times and so far I like it, although it's not the longest wearing. Debenhams in the Uk is getting better when it comes to makeup these days. They have a better range of Too Faced, Kat Von D but they also not have Buxom which I am very happy about. I'll start off with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting spray which I have wanted for a while, however, I never have been fully committed to buying this as I am a full fledges Mac Fix + addict and proudly so. I g...

A N T I - H A U L # 2

This is my second post like this now, whether it's on this blog or my other one, but I feel like with all the new launches happening I think I really need to make another. So many beauty bloggers and YouTubers now are promoting products left and right and I feel as while they're being honest and saying that perhaps they don't necessarily like the product they still find the justification to make their viewers buy it, which in turn keeps the company happy and keep sending them products. So are they being reliable? You decide. I check Trendmood1 Instagram page on the daily to see what's new as they post constantly what beauty companies leak on their Snapchat and their Instagram and even repost people's swatches of products. Personally, I prefer this rather than following a lot of different accounts. I don't follow Trendmood1 as they post way too often, however, I usually just check throughout the day. Now, I am only going to talk about products from brands...

Too Faced x Kat Von D Better Together Palette: Review.

Image
If you saw my last post you'll know that I picked this palette up when it launched on the 14th of this month. It has taken a couple of months but it's finally available at Debenhams stores here in the Uk. Where I live, in North Wales, we do not have a Kat Von D or a TooFaced counter so swatching this before I bought it was impossible. I watched some youtube videos and I thought that I had to have it since nothing like this has happened before. this being when two similar makeup brands come together to create a product. First on the packaging. I personally thought it would be bigger than it is. The quantity of product you get is very nice and if you saw my last post I mentioned that the palette on its own is worth £22 making each shadow in the palette around £1.80. I haven't looked up how much that is in dollars however I am sure you can look that up. The Kat Von D side does have a little more product than the Too Faced side but not by much. The palette can b...

Collective Beauty Haul

Image
During January there were a lot of beauty launches, and I feel as though when things get announced the Us markets will be able to sell it within a month if not 3 weeks. For myself I would have to make a Sephora order and pay up to £30 in shipping and taxes to get my hands on newly released gems, and I have done so a few times, however this year I am inclined to wait, if I know a 100% that they will be bringing them to the Uk. So this is a collective haul that I have bought from various websites, that include, Asos, Beautybay and Debenhams. The first product that I the most excited to start using is the TooFaced x Kat Von D Better Together Palette. This was only launched in the Uk on the 14th of February when it was released in the US before the holiday season. My main motivation for purchasing this is because I haven't seen two companies come together in friendship like this to make a range of products. I love my Kat Von D palette, and I also love my TooFaced Palette s...

January Favourites

Image
It has been a while since I last blogged, but I have been feeling a little uninspired. I want to make my blog more... me, and I still haven't found my own style as of yet, but I will get there. I thought I would get back into the swing of things and start dedicating to actually posting a favourite product post each month. I don't really have a lot of makeup products as I've just been using the same things quite often. I do however have a couple, and I will be re-purchasing these when they run out. The first are two products from Urban Decay. The first is the green colour correcting fluid, and I use this on my cheeks and nose. In the morning my face becomes quite red after rubbing in skincare and nothing covers it up completely, however using this does even it out a little and it really helps. Next is a cult classic, the Urban Decay Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer. It claims to be crease-proof, it still does on my but when set it doesn't budge. I use the...

Current Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick Collection

Image
I am not a "professional" lip swatcher by any means, however, I thought I would show which of the Kat Von D Liquid Lipsticks that I own. I highly recommend these if you are looking for a liquid lipstick that doesnt budge and really clings on, these are your best bet. At the moment she has a shade range that stretches to 26 colours however this new year she will be adding an additional 25 to her line. Some of which will be realeased soon and some in the spring, however, you can check out the new shades on her Instagram. I own 11 of the shades from her current line at the moment. Through the past couple of years I have been ordering them from Sephora in the US. Thank the heavens you can now get them in the Uk though Debenhams, however you will be waiting longer if you are looking for the newer items, so I might still consider ordering from the US if you want newer arrivals sooner. The Shades I own: (Named in the order that they are swatched. The first image are my bare ...
