My 2017 Favourites.

Image
I know this post is coming a little late, however, although I do have things in my collection I still need to review, I wanted to take a break from the review and haul posts for a while. I hope that my favourites will have a little more variety than other peoples posts, but we shall see. I will try and go in order of how I would apply my face. Primer: This is something new that came to me at the end of the year but I can already tell its a firm favourite. I was always using the Becca Backlight Priming Filter which I still love however it wasn't doing anything to smooth texture and minimise pores, so I decided to try out a Jeffree Star recommendation, the Touch In Sol No Poreblem Primer . This really smooths out my skin and creates a perfect canvas for my foundation. This is, however, a little mattifying, so it makes dewy foundations look more like a velvet finish. Foundation: Now this is a tie between two oh so expensive, but worth it, foundations. The first foundati...

My Favourite Palettes... That I don't use?

Image
Now, I have to put a disclaimer here. Yes, you read the title of this post correctly, I love these palettes so much but I baby them and don't use them. Some of the palettes that I own are either limited edition or expensive so I don't use these day to day, and I'll only use them on a special occasion. I baby these so much, that I keep most of my palettes in their original boxes. The first palette that I consider to be one of my favourite children is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette. I bought this palette when it first initially launched from all the way from Sephora US. After using this a little I fell in love and felt like I never had a bad eye look day, and when the reviews came flooding in I was so happy that I have it. However, I knew I would continue to use it every day and eventually hit pan, and the fear of hitting pan go to me, and I decided to retire the palette for the time being. I do crack it out every so often though when I want ...

Biggest Haul of 2017. (Beware large post).

Image
This rather large haul was acquired over a couple of months and I didn't buy it all in one go (I only wish I was that crazy). I'll start with the black box that's quite blurry in the left bottom corner, sorry about that. That is the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation in the colour N2. I have seen Desi Perkins on YouTube rave about this foundation as being hydrating yet full coverage and I wanted to go back to liquid foundations for a while now so I want to give it a go. I have tried it a handful of times and so far I like it, although it's not the longest wearing. Debenhams in the Uk is getting better when it comes to makeup these days. They have a better range of Too Faced, Kat Von D but they also not have Buxom which I am very happy about. I'll start off with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting spray which I have wanted for a while, however, I never have been fully committed to buying this as I am a full fledges Mac Fix + addict and proudly so. I g...

Collective Beauty Haul

Image
During January there were a lot of beauty launches, and I feel as though when things get announced the Us markets will be able to sell it within a month if not 3 weeks. For myself I would have to make a Sephora order and pay up to £30 in shipping and taxes to get my hands on newly released gems, and I have done so a few times, however this year I am inclined to wait, if I know a 100% that they will be bringing them to the Uk. So this is a collective haul that I have bought from various websites, that include, Asos, Beautybay and Debenhams. The first product that I the most excited to start using is the TooFaced x Kat Von D Better Together Palette. This was only launched in the Uk on the 14th of February when it was released in the US before the holiday season. My main motivation for purchasing this is because I haven't seen two companies come together in friendship like this to make a range of products. I love my Kat Von D palette, and I also love my TooFaced Palette s...

Accidental Beauty Haul. (Cult Beauty + Nordstrom)

Image
It feels like I have been nothing but buying make up recently and I have decided that after this I am going to take a step back I get my hands on the Urban Decay Moondust Pallete! Anyway this is just a blog post about the few things I have picked up over month ago. First I want to get the morning one out of the way (something that isn't make up I consider boring sorry!) and those are the Skyn Blemish dots. I have been wanting to try something like these because during that fabulous time of the month spots pop up over night it seems. What these are are stickers essentially and they are coated with salicystic acid which help to reduce redness and the swelling of the spot. I use these after I cleanse my face at night, and let them work until I wake up. They do work in the terms of reducing the redness and maybe the slight appearance and texture of the swelling but it doesn't help get rid of the spot.  Now onto the three Jouer Cosmetics items that I got. I got the fr...

My Love for the Jaclyn Hill x Becca Collection

Image
So Something That wasn’t really meant to happen was that I made another Sephora order. I have never made more than two orders in one month however when something LiMITED EDITION comes out you guys know I have to get on the band wagon. The main reason why I made my second Sephora order was because Becca came out with the split pan highlight and blush compact.  This makes me sound that I am obsess with with Jaclyn Hill as I have been hunting for everything that she has done wth Becca. I just have ti say I do watch Jaclyn and I do like her videos however her videos don’t really look like anything different from a lot of other beauty “gurus” on youtube. I do however like what she and becca have created together. I do own Beccas original highlighter in the shade moonstone and I love it. What made me invest in Champagne pop was partially the fact that there was ALOT of hype about it within the beauty community but also, I was on the hunt for a peach highlight. I own one of the N...

5 Products I Would Re-Purchase

Image
I test out a lot of make up. Even though I don't get sent anything I have a tendency to buy anything that says new or limited edition on it. I obviously can't love everything that comes out or even if I do, there are some staple products in my collection that are just things I cannot live without.  Still Stay All Day Waterproof Eyeliner - This eyeliner in my opinion is the best I have tried, and I have been wearing eyeliner ever since I was in high school. So I would say about 8 years of nearly everyday wear. I know what works for me personally and what doesn't. My eyes I would say are partially hooded, so you can still see some lid space. This eyeliner glides on and lasts all day. If I am working 8+ hours it looks exactly like it did in the morning. The only downside which people might have (but I don't really mind) is that it's more of a satin finish rather than matte. I don't mind as its easy felt tip applicator and its also lasts for months. ...
