A Little Something Extra

Following my recent blog post of my top 5 red lipsticks, I have decided to also share my top 5 nudes. I wear these on most days rather than a red lip, so you might already have these in your collections. My most favourite nude that I own is the Nudestix Lip and Cheek Pencil in the shade Whisper. When I do not want to wear a bronzed look I go for this shade. It's a perfect nude for when I am wearing a neutral or cool toned look. When I go out I often wear this shade as, although it isn't a long-wearing formula, It's a lipstick and liner in one so I can just throw it in my bag. I also love it as a blush. The fanciest nude shade that I own is the Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in the shade Kim KW. During January there were a lot of beauty launches, and I feel as though when things get announced the Us markets will be able to sell it within a month if not 3 weeks. For myself I would have to make a Sephora order and pay up to £30 in shipping and taxes to get my hands on newly released gems, and I have done so a few times, however this year I am inclined to wait, if I know a 100% that they will be bringing them to the Uk. So this is a collective haul that I have bought from various websites, that include, Asos, Beautybay and Debenhams. It feels like I have been nothing but buying make up recently and I have decided that after this I am going to take a step back I get my hands on the Urban Decay Moondust Pallete! Anyway this is just a blog post about the few things I have picked up over month ago. First I want to get the morning one out of the way (something that isn't make up I consider boring sorry!) and those are the Skyn Blemish dots. I have been wanting to try something like these because during that fabulous time of the month spots pop up over night it seems. What these are are stickers essentially and they are coated with salicystic acid which help to reduce redness and the swelling of the spot. I use these after I cleanse my face at night, and let them work until I wake up. They do work in the terms of reducing the redness and maybe the slight appearance and texture of the swelling but it doesn't help get rid of the spot.  Now onto the three Jouer Cosmetics items that I got. This may be my biggest sephora haul to date however I am going away to visit a friend in London next month so I wanted to pick up some limited edition make up that I wanted before I start saving up my pennies when I go to the big city. The star of the show I guess would be the Jaclyn Hill x Becca Face Palette which has been on my wishlist ever since I saw it. I think i’ll make a more in-depth post about this single palette as it very much deserves it. It comes with the legendary champagne pop highlight which everyone and their mother, father and dog should own, 3 blush shades and described by Jaclyn to be Champagne pops little sister Prosecco Pop. This highlight is more of a golden shade, more gold than moonstone and would probably be a close call to opal even though I do not own this shade. Another blog post about my current favorite shows at the moment. As I think I have stated before I don't really watch Tv so I keep an eye out on Netflix and other shows I see are either from the ads showing on Youtube, or from even myself searching for shows. The Following This is the kind of series that I love. I really like murder, serial killer tv shows, don't know what that says about me but I just like it when the killer finally gets his comeuppance and gets put behind bars. First of all in this series Kevin Bacon is the detective hunting down a serial killer who has gotten quite a following of sick and sinister people, and eventually creating a following in his name. I have to say that the series is pretty well thought out and there are characters that you really route for. I have just finished watching season 3 and I cannot wait for the next season, if there is one that is. The dynamic between the detective and the killer is very interesting as the killer is very ...
