My Drugstore Recommendations

Image
So if you’re a reader of my blog I often only mention high-end products. The only reason I can justify this is that I only really buy makeup online. I live in a town in Wales where the only store with any real selection of makeup is Boots, and it's not a really big store either. So the selection of makeup I have at my disposal in person is quite limited. If I am going to buy drugstore makeup, ill make an online boots order as its free delivery if you collect in store. Something that I always have in my personal makeup bag, and probably something ill buy for my freelancing kit (let me know if you want a blog post on this) is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I have been using this concealer for years and it's my go to if I need to cover blemishes as well as dark circles. The only downsize to this product is the shade range. It only comes in 4 shades and they only range to fair-medium-ish. However the pros far out-way the negatives as its only £4.99 and th...

5 Products I Would Re-Purchase

Image
I test out a lot of make up. Even though I don't get sent anything I have a tendency to buy anything that says new or limited edition on it. I obviously can't love everything that comes out or even if I do, there are some staple products in my collection that are just things I cannot live without.  Still Stay All Day Waterproof Eyeliner - This eyeliner in my opinion is the best I have tried, and I have been wearing eyeliner ever since I was in high school. So I would say about 8 years of nearly everyday wear. I know what works for me personally and what doesn't. My eyes I would say are partially hooded, so you can still see some lid space. This eyeliner glides on and lasts all day. If I am working 8+ hours it looks exactly like it did in the morning. The only downside which people might have (but I don't really mind) is that it's more of a satin finish rather than matte. I don't mind as its easy felt tip applicator and its also lasts for months. ...

L'Oreal Nude Magique Lumi Cushion Review

Image
This foundation has been the best thing to happen to the highstreet since contour compacts and highlighting palettes. Cushion foundations have been a thing within asian beauty for a while and it has slowly been creeping up to the west beauty scene. I first time I heard about an easy accessible cushion foundation was the Lancôme Miracle Cushion Fluid Foundation which actually has the shame amount of product (14g) as the L'Oreal however its twice the price (obviously). This range currently has 7 shades of poor choice, as they only range from very light to light medium. Great news for the pale people however not so great for those who are medium to deep skin tones. This is where the Lancôme Cushion Foundation wins as they do have a variety from light to deep shades. I got the lightest shade just to be on the safe side and that 01 Porcelain which is usually the shade name for the lightest shade that a lot of companies make, and I have to say its a pretty good match for me. ...
