A Little Something Extra

The palette that everybody went crazy for. I have had this palette now for about a month and I can see what the hype is about. This palette is the first permanent eyeshadow palette that ABH has released. Their eyeshadows have always been a limited edition thing and if you have been an avid collector of these palettes you know that the quality has been getting better with every palette, and as far as this one goes the quality is pretty great. Something a lot of people have had mixed reviews about is the packaging. A lot of what U have seen online is that they really like it. I personally hate this packaging. This is only because I really don't like the feeling of velvet / suede. Since its a material I can see it getting very dirty very quickly, and i have seen this as youtube who have just bought it have gotten it dirty just a couple of moments after. Last month I didn't upload a favorites post as I didn't really have anything new that I started to love that month. It takes me a long time to decide if I truly love a product ready enough to put it into an in-depth post, unless the first time I try it and I am obsessed straight off the bat.  My first favorite is a perfect no make up make up product.  BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Tinted Cream Gel  in the shade Opal. I feel like I can wear this even if I have a few blemishes. Pop on a bit of concealer and I feel so fresh faced and look so healthy and hydrated. It doesn't cling to my dry patches and it somehow just goes over my pores making it look like I have a flawless base but it still shows my freckles. As you might have seen in my recent haul, well in one of my most recent hauls anyway, you would have seen that I got the Illamasqua primer. It is one of the best on the market as they say. Who says that I have no clue, however they were right! I have never been a huge primer person however I do struggle in keeping my make up on through the day. If I do want longer lasting make up I go for the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation whit usually lasts all day, but sometimes I want a lighter coverage, and an even lighter feeling. The texture of this primer is like none other out there, and for this reason alone it can be understood why its a cult product. When opening the packaging you get a little spoon that you mix the primer with. It forms a jelly texture that you take a small scoop of and then apply. Another unintended post, however I had to post about this lip liner! Ever since 2014 when it was on trend to have purple lips, I have been on the hunt for the perfect purple lip colour. Purple can make teeth look yellow, so Ive always stuck to the more plumb and mauve toned purples. Recently I was a photo on Pinterest of this lip colour and I wanted it so bad!! I don't quite know why I got the lip liner instead of the actual lipstick however I'm glad I did now as it lasts for such a long time on the lips, plus I can use it as a base for other lipsticks. So, This is part two of my recent beauty Haul, I know I should have but... you know what they say.. YOLO. For my big dissertation project I have chosen the topic of "Animal Testing within the Beauty Community" and my figurative client for this project is LUSH. My plan for the finished article would be to create a booklet showcasing some of the products of LUSH and what goes on in the Animal Testing industry for young teens who start to take care of themselves. So I'm looking at the age ranges between 15-18 so it will be nice and colorful. I bought all of these stuff for photography purposes, and as an added bonus I do get to use these products afterwards.
