Just a quick post to show you guys my three go to autuminal looks. These looks are all without eyeliner, so they are super easy if you decide you like them. These were done in under two minutes so they are perfect if you wan to throw something on in a hurry. (BTW I know my brows are terrible but I did these before going in the shower.)  This first look is very sinple and only takes one palette and three eyeshadows. I used the Too Faced Swwep Peach Palette. I know this palette is making a come back, and I highly recommend it. I lightly buffed the shade Puree in the crease, added Summer Yum to define the crease and the inner and outer corners of the eye. Then for a pop of brightness I used Nectar  in the center of the lid and the center of the lower lash line.   This look is a little more dramatic however with a flawless base and a nude lip its the perfect vampy look for this fall. This only took 2 affordable products. on the lid I used the Maybelline Co...

D E - P O T T I N G

Something that isn't a necessity, but something that I really needed doing. De - potting palettes. I own a lot of eyeshadow and face palettes and some of them really need a good clear out. I bet all of us make up junkies have a very ugly looking palette that we don't even look at anymore because it's so beat up. I have wanted to invest in a Z-Palette for a long while, however never really felt like I needed it (plus I was a little scared of messing things up). I have a few pans of the Make Up Geek shadows that are still in their packaging that I don't really reach for anymore because they are too flimsy for me to bother with since I have shadows that are stuck in an actual palette. I bought the Z-Palette in the black colour and in the large size. I actually have enough to fill it. I also got the de-potting spatula which will help me take pans out of old palettes. Knowing myself I'd probably use a knife and end up damaging the makeup, or worse, myself. I...

Things I'm Loving Right Now

I can never commit to doing monthly favorite posts so I have decided to do these types of posts. I wear make up almost every single day and what I use doesn't really change up that much. i always tend to get stuck in a rut using the same products in different ways. I was using NARS When God Created Woman Palette for ages and I was even using the eyeshadows in there for my eye brows. So yeah, I have so much make up but I really cannot be arsed going through my collection and changing it up. Over the past week or so however I forced myself to go through everything and picked stuff out to force myself to use them. The Urban Decay Naked Smokey Palette is something I picked up on the day of my graduation, and I haven't really used it. It was sitting on my vanity eyeballing me to use it so I put it in my make up bag and I have been using it nearly daily now. I don't really go all out on the smokey eye aspect of it, but despite this you can really create subtle pretty eye...

Make Up Geek Shadows

Image
Make Up Geek Shadows have made their way to the Uk. Watching the American beauty gurus go on about their make up geek shadows in their Z Palettes made me really jealous. Before, the only way you can get a personalized palette here was to go to MAC. Personally, that system didn't appeal to me. The Mac counter that is closest to me is in Chester, which is over an hour away. Granted I could buy the pans and the palette online however when you look at the price comparison there is a big difference. Mac pan shadows are £10 each while the Make Up Geek shadows on the  Beauty Bay Website  are £4.95. From what Ive swatched of Mac shadows every time I've been at a counter, the Make Up Geek shadows do compare in quality. They even compare to Urban Decay shadows which are my fave. When I was looking at the colour selection, I wanted a few shades that I knew I would use. This is so even if they turned out to be not so good I could still use the colours. Luckily for me they...
