January Favourites

It has been a while since I last blogged, but I have been feeling a little uninspired. I want to make my blog more... me, and I still haven't found my own style as of yet, but I will get there. I thought I would get back into the swing of things and start dedicating to actually posting a favourite product post each month. I don't really have a lot of makeup products as I've just been using the same things quite often. I do however have a couple, and I will be re-purchasing these when they run out. The first are two products from Urban Decay. The first is the green colour correcting fluid, and I use this on my cheeks and nose. In the morning my face becomes quite red after rubbing in skincare and nothing covers it up completely, however using this does even it out a little and it really helps. Next is a cult classic, the Urban Decay Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer. It claims to be crease-proof, it still does on my but when set it doesn't budge. I use the...

This month I feel as though I haven't bought that much makeup, but I actually have. Oh gosh, darn it. I always blame Youtube for this happening as if I never watched Youtube I would never know what new products are out, and never feel the need to buy things the moment they come out. it's turned me into a makeup addict, and I cannot lie, I love it. This month has been all about Urban Decay. They have come out with a bunch of new products over the past two months and it got my makeup senses tingling. I had to just re-purchase the Naked Concealer because I used my old one all up. Before I knew it it was done with and I didn't even know how to do my face without it, and that's when I knew, that I couldn't be without this product. I use this in the shade Fair Neutral which is too light for me however I use it to highlight the under-eye and my t-zone as there is where I naturally highlight and most of the time get blemishes and this is the best pigment, and lasti...

American Beauty Haul

You might have seen in a previous blog post that I had made a Shop and Box order, and after my final payment it came within two days. Yes, no joke two days. I received my order in two separate boxes just so that the shipping costs wouldn't be as much. Personally I wouldn't make another shop and box order just because I think I got what I wanted from the States for a while. The first item I put on my wishlist was the Lorac Pro Palette. I am going to make a separate blog post all about this palette and my opinion on it. I will however touch on the primer quickly. I think that it rivals the urban decay primer that it has a tint of colour and although the urban decay primer is a little more silky, the loran primer is a little sticky. Some people won't like this however I think that its great for shadows that have glitter chunks and even if you want to build intensity of a lid shade without spraying a little fix plus into the mix. I cannot comment on longevity, but I ha...

June & July Favorites

Last month I didn't upload a favorites post as I didn't really have anything new that I started to love that month. It takes me a long time to decide if I truly love a product ready enough to put it into an in-depth post, unless the first time I try it and I am obsessed straight off the bat.  My first favorite is a perfect no make up make up product.  BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Tinted Cream Gel  in the shade Opal. I feel like I can wear this even if I have a few blemishes. Pop on a bit of concealer and I feel so fresh faced and look so healthy and hydrated. It doesn't cling to my dry patches and it somehow just goes over my pores making it look like I have a flawless base but it still shows my freckles. Something that most beauty addicts have is an Urban Decay Naked Palette . I have Naked 2 and Naked 3 and the Basics, but recently I have been showing some love to my first baby, Naked 2. For some reason I always go back to this when it is the summe...
