The Morphe 39A Palette. Review & Swatches.

Image
When I saw this palette my jaw dropped. I loved the idea of having a larger pan for transitions. I was gutted to find out, however, that it was a morphe website exclusive. I would have thought it would become available on the BeuatyBay website but they have only decided to stock the rest of the Chrismas items and not this. I then went on the Morphe website just to see how it would be for shipping, and it was almost the same amount as the actual palette so, I decided not to get it. I later found out they had a dedicated website for the Uk, where it was free shipping over a certain amount, and that's how I finally got it. Being from an artist background, I love how it just looks like a paint palette. The possibilities are endless with this palette and I am super excited to start using it for myself and clients. Morphe has recently decided to rebrand so everything looks so much sleeker, and the colours even have names now. The palette is more expensive ...

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Palette Review & Swatches

Image
I am actually writing this section post even before I have received the palette. Why? Because I feel like I need to talk about the BeautyBay website and how checking out the palette went. So, on the 28th of September, the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Collaboration Palette launched on the BeautyBay website. Jaclyn snap-chatted that the launch would happen at 9 is on the website. I was working that day and I only get 45 mins break. I checked the website 8:30 am and the palette was already on there, and I later found out it was an early access for registered members. I added it to my cart, and it wouldn't let me sign in. I, therefore, created new account thinking that I must have changed my password and forgot, but no, it wouldn't let me sign into the new one either. I was there for half an hour until the page suddenly came up as being out of stock. My heart sank, as I had been trying to check out nearly for all of my breaks, and they don't have a customer service line either so I co...

So I bought a Morphe Palette...

I have always been on the side of "I will never buy into those cheap looking palettes" when it comes to Morphe. I see big beauty gurus pushing the brand and I found it such a big turn off. We get it, you get sent the products and you have to say something about it, and because it's not anything negative, it's ok because you've still said something, and you'll continue to receive products. This is what my mind was saying whenever I saw another Morphe Eyeshadow palette pop up on Snapchat or Insta-story.  I have bought brushes from the brand and they are surprisingly very well made and I use them everytime I do my eye makeup. I was on the BeautyBay website just browsing the other day and I saw that they actually have some Morphe Palettes in stock. As suspected they didn't have the famous ultimate warm orange 35O palette in stock. I don't really know what came over me but I got too intrigued to back out. This is when I decided to get the 35K (Koff...

This month I feel as though I haven't bought that much makeup, but I actually have. Oh gosh, darn it. I always blame Youtube for this happening as if I never watched Youtube I would never know what new products are out, and never feel the need to buy things the moment they come out. it's turned me into a makeup addict, and I cannot lie, I love it. This month has been all about Urban Decay. They have come out with a bunch of new products over the past two months and it got my makeup senses tingling. I had to just re-purchase the Naked Concealer because I used my old one all up. Before I knew it it was done with and I didn't even know how to do my face without it, and that's when I knew, that I couldn't be without this product. I use this in the shade Fair Neutral which is too light for me however I use it to highlight the under-eye and my t-zone as there is where I naturally highlight and most of the time get blemishes and this is the best pigment, and lasti...
