A Little Something Extra

During January there were a lot of beauty launches, and I feel as though when things get announced the Us markets will be able to sell it within a month if not 3 weeks. For myself I would have to make a Sephora order and pay up to £30 in shipping and taxes to get my hands on newly released gems, and I have done so a few times, however this year I am inclined to wait, if I know a 100% that they will be bringing them to the Uk. So this is a collective haul that I have bought from various websites, that include, Asos, Beautybay and Debenhams. Something that isn't a necessity, but something that I really needed doing. De - potting palettes. I own a lot of eyeshadow and face palettes and some of them really need a good clear out. I bet all of us make up junkies have a very ugly looking palette that we don't even look at anymore because it's so beat up. I have wanted to invest in a Z-Palette for a long while, however never really felt like I needed it (plus I was a little scared of messing things up). I have a few pans of the Make Up Geek shadows that are still in their packaging that I don't really reach for anymore because they are too flimsy for me to bother with since I have shadows that are stuck in an actual palette. I bought the Z-Palette in the black colour and in the large size. I actually have enough to fill it. I also got the de-potting spatula which will help me take pans out of old palettes. Recently this palette has been getting a lot of attention from the big names in the Beauty community on Youtube, especially the Americans. I believe it was first mentioned by Jaclyn Hill on her snapchat which is when Jeffree Star started to mention it in his videos and then Manny Mua followed short.  These are pretty big names with collectively millions of subscribers so when something as affordable as this gets attention enough for them to ship from the Uk to America, people take notice! In the Uk the price point is at £9.99 at Boots stores which is affordable for 4 shades of highlight. The palettes that are currently available are Precious Metals which include 3 creams and 1 Powder, and then The Solstice which includes 3 powders and 1 cream. A Limited Edition Palette? Of course I am all over it! The sweet scented palettes by Too Faced have always intrigued me. The first chocolate palette I have almost bought a numerous amount of times however never taken the plunge to actually buy... yet. When I saw this palette all over youtube I though pff what a gimmick. I thought that something that was sent to so many people to promote wasn't really worth it, that it was all a false, but I was wrong.....  Not only do I love this palette buy I actually wrote a review for it on the Debenhams website, which I never write reviews! I mean, who has time for that, but I made the time. Personally I don't think the palette smells like peach, it does however have a strong sweet fruity smell, but not singularly peach. But I do like it and find myself inhaling the scent when I put it on. The quality of this palette rivals the many other eyeshadow palettes that I own, even the Lorac Pro.
