A Little Something Extra

Now, I have to put a disclaimer here. Yes, you read the title of this post correctly, I love these palettes so much but I baby them and don't use them. Some of the palettes that I own are either limited edition or expensive so I don't use these day to day, and I'll only use them on a special occasion. I baby these so much, that I keep most of my palettes in their original boxes. The first palette that I consider to be one of my favourite children is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette. I bought this palette when it first initially launched from all the way from Sephora US. After using this a little I fell in love and felt like I never had a bad eye look day, and when the reviews came flooding in I was so happy that I have it. However, I knew I would continue to use it every day and eventually hit pan, and the fear of hitting pan go to me, and I decided to retire the palette for the time being. Ever since I saw an empty version of this palette on Trendmoods Instagram I knew it would be a great palette and I would have to have it. I already own the shade and light eye contour palette and the formula of those shadows are great, so I was exited to see if the formula was the same. I  have to say I wasn’t immediately blown away with the colour selection. I thought to myself that it had too much colour and not enough neutrals, but I realised thats not what this palette is for. I missed out on the Mi Vida Loca Palette last year and I still regret it, so I thought to myself I had to have this palette and I am so glad that I got it. The packaging of this palette is very nice. The fact that the name Metal turns to Matte when you turn the palette upwards to downwards is very clever.
