A Little Something Extra

So, here comes part two of my huge beauty haul. Starting off with my order from Selfridges. This was the first order that I had made with the company and I have to say it came super quick and neatly packaged, I would really recommend shopping with them for high end make up. The first thing I popped into my basket was something that I saw all over social media, especially Instagram. This is the Jorgobé Peel Off Mask. I have large pores so I get blackheads easily and masks don't usually draw out all the dirt thats stuck in them so I opted to try this mask. I have used it a couple of times and I am in love, its a black mask with tea extracts that pulls out all the dirt. When the mask is dry you can feel all the bumps of dirt under the mask which is pretty cool. I use this in conjunction with other mask during the week and I have noticed a reduction in black heads especially around my nose area. Another blog post about my current favorite shows at the moment. As I think I have stated before I don't really watch Tv so I keep an eye out on Netflix and other shows I see are either from the ads showing on Youtube, or from even myself searching for shows. The Following This is the kind of series that I love. I really like murder, serial killer tv shows, don't know what that says about me but I just like it when the killer finally gets his comeuppance and gets put behind bars. First of all in this series Kevin Bacon is the detective hunting down a serial killer who has gotten quite a following of sick and sinister people, and eventually creating a following in his name. I have to say that the series is pretty well thought out and there are characters that you really route for. Ever since I started getting seriously into make up Real Techniques brushes have been a staple in my everyday make up routine. I remember, when it was my first year of university and I hadn't made that many friends, I turned to watching make up tutorials on Youtube and I never thought make up was something more then just slapping a liquid on my face. The first ever brush that I bought was the Real Techniques Stippling Brush, and I still have it to this day. Of course since then my obsession with make up has grown including my Real Techniques brush collection. The Bold Metals range by Real Techniques came out a few years ago and to be honest I wasn't really that fussed. The quality of these brushes are very soft however I personally don't see the difference.  The shapes that you see in the Bold Metals Collection cannot be found in their regular quality brush sets. I know I have been inactive on here for the past couple of weeks but what can I say, I am not a consistent kind of person. I really wish I could be as my whole life would then be in order but thats not who I am I guess. February for myself and I has been a month of a lot of new discoveries however I haven't tried them out enough for them to be in this blog post. Something you would have seen in a previous post would be the Cover Fx Custom Cover Drops. During the winter none of my foundations have matched me perfectly but this little miracle has helped me out a lot. I also have been adding this to my BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer to give it a little more coverage on the not so good skin days. Next is a product that I have had for a while, and its the Collection Brow Powder Palette. The darkest shade in the palette has been my go to shade for my brows since I dyed my hair a darker shade at the roots. I also really like to use this palette as a neutral eyeshadow palette. I feel like everyone owns this palette, and for those who don't, need it!  When I first received this palette my first impressions were O.M.G.  To get the boring bit out of the way, the packaging is super slim. Its made of cardboard which means its slim and lightweight so this would be a great palette to travel with. However I would never see myself traveling with this as cardboard isn’t solid enough in my mind to protect the product inside, unless I would be super careful in packing with it. You have the top row which is all matte and then the bottom row which are a mix of satins and metallic. The mates are really wonderful and the quality really doesn’t compare to the many other palettes that I own. I have allot of shadows from Urban Decay and the mattes in these palettes compared to these seem chalky. the shimmers, which are super buttery as well, have a lot of fall out. Over the past couple of weeks my skin has been like the dessert, patches of uneven skin and even flaking. Throughout my teenage years I never really suffered with my skin as most people did in my school. I never really had acne only a couple of monsters around that time of the month so I consider myself lucky in that department, considering I was a real weirdo and had full on train track braces. However as time has gone on and I am now 23 my skin is super dry. From my early years and now in my twenties my skin has been through so many changes. It used to be oily, then combo and now I think its settled on dry.   My skin although I don't really suffer much of blemishes I do supper from a lot of black heads and with all the masks I use to get rid of them they do dry my skin out. For my everyday cleanser I use my Epiderm Cream which I sometimes use as a moisturizing primer as it contains glycerin. Then as an actual moisturizer I use La Roche-Posey Effacer Duo. I know...
