Mini Highstreet Haul

 I know I just did a rather large haul, however, when I went to Boots just to get face wipes I picked up a couple of other beauty items. I thought to myself that I might as well blog about it and see what others have to say about them.


 I've been having horrible luck with my mascara recently. I don't know if its because the product itself has changed on me, or whether it's smudging due to the fact that the weather is getting warmer. I am currently using the Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Mascara, and at firs,t it was great and was actually a pain to get off. Now, however, when I come home from work I find it down my cheeks. I have always wanted to try the Maybelline The Falsies, and now they have a waterproof version. The wand looks more like a comb and I am really interested to see it it will stick to its claims and not give my lashes that clumpy look. 


Boots currently have an offer for buy one get one-half the price for Maybelline, so I thought to myself, why not. I didn't really need anything in particular apart from the mascara, but their lip liners caught my eye. I didn't really own a nude lip liner. I own Mac Lip Pencil in Boldly Bare but it's not nude enough. So I picked this Colour Sensational lip liner in the shade 10 Nude Whisper. It's very creamy so I question the longevity, but for me, it doesn't really matter as I don't really wear lip liner on its own.


Collection is a brand that has been around ever since I started wearing makeup. Their Lasting Perfection Concealer is a cult product within their line, and I also love it. When I heard they were coming out with colour correctors, especially a green one, I knew I'd have to be on the look out. When I saw the display I picked up the green and yellow colour corrector and a fresh tube of the original concealer. 


The formula looks promising and I look forward to using these next time I put on my face. I have a concern that maybe they might be too pigmented, but I will know once I give them a fair try.

Last month I didn't upload a favorites post as I didn't really have anything new that I started to love that month. It takes me a long time to decide if I truly love a product ready enough to put it into an in-depth post, unless the first time I try it and I am obsessed straight off the bat.  My first favorite is a perfect no make up make up product.  BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Tinted Cream Gel  in the shade Opal. I feel like I can wear this even if I have a few blemishes. Pop on a bit of concealer and I feel so fresh faced and look so healthy and hydrated. It doesn't cling to my dry patches and it somehow just goes over my pores making it look like I have a flawless base but it still shows my freckles. Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Palette Review & Swatches

I am actually writing this section post even before I have received the palette. Why? Because I feel like I need to talk about the BeautyBay website and how checking out the palette went. So, on the 28th of September, the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Collaboration Palette launched on the BeautyBay website. Jaclyn snap-chatted that the launch would happen at 9 is on the website. I was working that day and I only get 45 mins break. I checked the website 8:30 am and the palette was already on there, and I later found out it was an early access for registered members. I added it to my cart, and it wouldn't let me sign in. I, therefore, created new account thinking that I must have changed my password and forgot, but no, it wouldn't let me sign into the new one either. I was there for half an hour until the page suddenly came up as being out of stock. Make Up Forever Starlit Palette. Review & Swatches.

I have never tried Make Up Forever products and I found myself really keen on trying out this palette. I first saw this palette on the Trendmood Instagram page, and when you first look at it, it does look a lot like the Kat Von D Metal Matte Palette. Whilst looking through the comments I wasn't the only one who thought this, and I was very interested in purchasing as I was intrigued to see how they compare. I bought mine off the Debenhams website whilst it became on sale for a limited 24hrs, and even better was that the site had 15% off Beauty so I got the palette for £34 instead of the £40. I bought this completely based on my own opinion because there weren't any youtube reviews on it, and no blog posts either so I had no idea about the quality. When I got the palette I didn't really have any thoughts on the packaging. I thought the holographic aspect was really nice, but that was it.
