Current Top 5 Tv Shows (2)

A few tv shows I have been loving recently. Towards the end of the year there are a lot of shows that peek my interest. After Game of Thrones ends in the summer I have an empty void of Tv shows that gets filled in the Autumn/ Winter.

The Walking Dead
Super popular show thats currently airing its 6th season. I have loved this show from the beginning. If you like zombie apocalypses this is great. Starts off with ex-cop Rick Grimes as he wakes up from a comma to find that the world isn't as he expected. Zombies locked behind chained doors, bodies wrapped out in the streets and then his on going journey to go find his family. The seasons follow his emotional story as the lead character.
You never know which character you are going to loose next, a bit like Game of Thrones. You never know because it could be rivalry between other people, sickness, wounds or even... you guessed it, the living dead. This is a great show if you want something a little more than zombies, gunfire and man fueled testosterone.

Reign
In school one of my fave classes was history. Especially around the period of Henry the eighth and Elizabeth the first. I remember always feeling really bad about being Mary Queen of Scotts because she got beheaded as she was a threat to the English throne. When the first season came out I was a little late on the band wagon and I had 5 episodes to catch up on. I stayed up to watch them all one after the other. Its a great show detailing her younger years after she first married the French king. Shows love and betrayal with a little politics thrown in. A great series to get into. Plus the costumes are to die for, what I wouldn't give to scroll through their wardrobe.

Once Upon a Time.
This is a modern twist on all of our beloved fairy tales. The series revolves a young woman who arrives in a town called storybook, only to find her son who she gave up for adoption after his birth and his adoptive mother the Evil Queen. We later realize that there is more to this town that meets the eye. Snow White is a primary school teacher, prince charming married to another woman, and even the seven dwarfs are in town. No one knows who they really are thanks to a spell that was casted by the Evil Queen. I won’t go into much detail however, I’m on season 5 now and it just keeps getting better. Highly recommend if you were a true disney fan as a kid.

American Horror Story.
We’ve had the Murder House, The Asylum, The Coven, The Freak Show and now we are checking in to The Hotel. After the forth season aired last year I thought the creators of this series were loosing their touch (even though the clown was horrid and actually gave me nightmares). The multiple story lines didn’t seem to be going anywhere and then ended really suddenly. However this season is a whole new ball game. Star of the show is Gaga, as the countess. Surprisingly she is a great actress and manages to keep a cool, collective and sinister demeanor. I only wish we saw more of her, but alas then it would only be about her. I am loving the show so far and I’m intrigued to see how it develops.

Scream Queens
The inner teen in me loves this show!! Emma Robers is hilarious as being the spoilt little biatch that we love to hate. With a murderous red devil on the loose killing all the freshmen students, it keeps you hooked to find out who he is! or who they are … spoilers. Throw in some well know actors like Jamie Lee Curtis and that girl from the movie signs you have a great Tv Show. Doesn’t help that the men are dashing fellows, even including a little bit of Nick Jonas.. Hello look who’s all grown up, damn. I digress, for a little comedic action along side a serial killer with a murderous vendetta, and dash of mystery this show is a winner for me.

What shows have you been loving? Thanks for the read. x
