MAC Heroine Lip Liner.

Image
Another unintended post, however I had to post about this lip liner! Ever since 2014 when it was on trend to have purple lips, I have been on the hunt for the perfect purple lip colour. Purple can make teeth look yellow, so Ive always stuck to the more plumb and mauve toned purples. Recently I was a photo on Pinterest of this lip colour and I wanted it so bad!! I don't quite know why I got the lip liner instead of the actual lipstick however I'm glad I did now as it lasts for such a long time on the lips, plus I can use it as a base for other lipsticks. I love it. Photo from my instagram @ceri_eri_eri Photo from my Snapchat - Ceri Toleman All of these photos were taking on my phone so I apologize for the quality. If you want to see more lipstick posts and that, like my blog, and also let me know what your current favorite lippy is. Many Thanks x

Barry M New Shades in the Speedy Quick Dry Range

Image
Barry M has been on point with all of their releases recently, and not too long ago they came out with the Speedy Dry nail polish range. When this range first came out I was really exited as doing my nails is a chose as it normally chips off the same day of applying it, or the next day. Speedy Quick Drying nail polish was an answer to a simplest prayer as I hate waiting for nail polish to dry. Upon first release I got two shades which I mentioned in a monthly favorites on this blog. The colors I bought back then was Pit Stop, which is a taupe grey and Lap of Honor, which is a light lavender shade, and the other shades from that range at the time were pastels, perfect for spring.  For summer they brought out new shades that are much more bright and some even have glitter/shimmer in them. I bought two colours like I did the first time the collection came out. I don't know why I did this I just thought I'd try two and if I don't like one at least I have another, but if I d...

Beauty Haul Pt 2

Image
So, This is part two of my recent beauty Haul, I know I should have but... you know what they say.. YOLO. I only got four thing though.. can you tell I'm trying to make myself feel better by justifying only buying four products? I used them all the next day the post arrived also, so this will be a haul/ mini review on all of the products I got all of these products off  BeautyBay.com  which has a wide selection of beauty products you won't be able to find on the high street easily, such as Cover Fx, Illamasqua and so on. The  Louise Young LY34 Super Foundation Brush , has been in my basket for ages. It is something that I thought of getting but not as I have so many brushes, and these days I use my beauty blender to do my base. However, my beauty blender has now seen better days as I have been using the same one for over half a year, so i thought I might invest in a really well made staple brush to do my foundation. This blends out foundation so well leaving no v...

LUSH Haul for upcoming University Project

Image
For my big dissertation project I have chosen the topic of "Animal Testing within the Beauty Community" and my figurative client for this project is LUSH. My plan for the finished article would be to create a booklet showcasing some of the products of LUSH and what goes on in the Animal Testing industry for young teens who start to take care of themselves. So I'm looking at the age ranges between 15-18 so it will be nice and colorful. I bought all of these stuff for photography purposes, and as an added bonus I do get to use these products afterwards. All in all I bought 10 products, and after the photography session I will be exited to use them. 1. The Bohemian Soap (Vegan)  . Described as a classic soap the cleanses and refreshes. Smells super lemony and one I have bought once before. 2. The Somewhere Over The Rainbow Soap .  This soap was limited edition for this spring and I wanted a slice just because of the colors are so vivid and bright and thought it w...

Beauty Haul Pt 1 (Oh yes there is more)

Image
Well it was payday and I treated myself to some goodies. I went a really long time without going mental in the shops so with the last loan coming in and payday a few days after I thought I deserved it. Don't exactly know why I did, but I don't need an excuse. I firstly made a Sephora Order with my friend Zoe because why not? This was the first time i ever ordered anything from Sephora and because we spent over $70 the postage was only £6 excluding taxes and such. It came in a week which was great, so thats why I'm including it into this haul and splitting up the posts into two halves. The two things I got were the  Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette  in Light and the  Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick  in Bachelorette. I know you can get the contour kit over here in the Uk via Cult Beauty, however believe it or not it was cheaper for me to get it over there and to get it shipped here, rather than buying it over here. Make Up in the US is cheaper than ...

April Favouries

This month has flown by. I had three weeks off university and it just flew by without me even realizing it. For this and future favorite posts I am going to limit myself to chose only five products to I can give you a full in-depth review of my top five products of the month.. Hey I might call the blogposts that from now on, we shall see, so lets get into it. The first product I would like to mention would be the Real Techniques Blush Brush, and I use this for bronzer. Now this is something new that Ive been doing as Ive become a little obsessed with the need to bronze up my fair skin for the spring. I always did use this for its intended purpose, for blush, however I squeezed the tip so it would cover a smaller area as Its too big for blush to put on my face at least. This just dusts the bronzer really lightly giving that bronzed shadow which I love. A concealer Ive been loving for under the eyes is the Health Mix Concealer by Bourjois. Its a yellow based concealer so ...
