Spectrum Collections 8 Piece Eye Blending Set Review

Image
I know these brushes are nothing new on the market, however, I have really been wanting new eye brushes lately. I was tempted to go in the BeautyBay site and buy lots of Morphee brushes, however, I wanted to try a brand that I've never used before. I've seen Spectrum brushes on quite a few Instagram accounts and when I saw they were available at boots I thought I'd give them a try. I bought the 8 piece eyeshadow collection for £29. I thought I would test them for a couple of days in a row, not using any other brand of brushes, and tell you how I feel about them. This is how they are described on the Boots Website, and I've also included how I use them with comparisons if there are any. A16 - Precision Crease – Use for precise application of cream and powder eye colour to the crease of the eyelid.- So far I have only used this brush for the inner corner of the eye. It's flat and precise and picks up just the right amount of product. I think this would be a ve

My Favourite Palettes... That I don't use?

Now, I have to put a disclaimer here. Yes, you read the title of this post correctly, I love these palettes so much but I baby them and don't use them. Some of the palettes that I own are either limited edition or expensive so I don't use these day to day, and I'll only use them on a special occasion. I baby these so much, that I keep most of my palettes in their original boxes. I bought this palette when it first initially launched from all the way from Sephora US. After using this a little I fell in love and felt like I never had a bad eye look day, and when the reviews came flooding in I was so happy that I have it. However, I knew I would continue to use it every day and eventually hit pan, and the fear of hitting pan go to me, and I decided to retire the palette for the time being. I do crack it out every so often though when I want

Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette. Review + Swatches

So, I went to Paris, France. It's always been one of the places on my bucket list where I've wanted to visit. All the bread, all the cheese and all the Art. I would say wine but I am not the big drinker. Whilst I was over the new Urban Decay Naked Heat palette launched, and I was planning on getting it when I was back home. However, when the day came for e to actually step into a Sephora so I could swatch it myself, I decided just to pick it up. I didn't even swatch it in the store because it was so busy there, but now I will always have a palette that will remind me of that trip.  Let's talk about the packaging. It's very comparable to the Naked Smokey which has the very rectangle plastic with design effects, as opposed to the first where it has velvet packaging and the second and third has the tin sort of packaging. It's heavy for a naked palette, and I think that a lot of effort went into it. The palette is a warm eyeshadow lovers dream, and I am a
