Spring Haul / Review

Image
After payday I thought I would go on a well deserved shopping spree, as with all the uni work I haven't been on one in ages! So I thought I would share my spoils on the blog. I have tried most of these products out because I'm so bad at waiting but atlas now it can turn into a Haul/ Review Post.    I'll start off with some bits that I picked up from Primark. I don't normally go into Primark as the one in Chester is always busy rain or shine and I just get overwhelmed, however when I popped in with my mate the other day it wasn't too bad. So I got a few basic bits. The first item is the grey t-shirt. It isn't just an ordinary cotton t-shirt, its a little more structured, kind of like a boxed t-shirt but not so boxy, if that makes any sense to some of you ha! But I love wearing this with black leggings as it goes further down covering the entire torso and makes a downtime outfit look a little 'more'. I also bought my first pair of jeans from there and

Is University for You?

This post is just my own opinion and advise that may help you if you are planning on going to University. Before hand I would like to state that not every Tutor or University are the same, or have the same principles. This is just my personal experience from three years of higher education on an art based course. University shouldn't be a place to go, if you don't know what you want to do in life..  I know when I left school, I knew I wanted to do something with art but I didn't know how to get my work out there and known so I went to collage to do a foundation degree. This was a one year course that in the end led me to my passion for Illustration. I felt like they let me be free and could work in an environment where nothing that I ever created was wrong. After it was over I was gutted, so I thought that I needed more education, thats why I went to university. This was the wrong reason. I do not need a degree to be successful in my profession. I know that now. If I cou

Dealing with Stress and Anxiety while at University.

The past couple of weeks has been really hard and I have been to the doctors and being diagnosed with anxiety and depression. However I do not feel depressed, just a little stressed. or another word ending in ‘essed’. I have been put on medication however I do not think that they are working as they just make me feel down. Here are my tips and tricks of keeping positive just for a little while for you to get stuff done and get focused. I think i have plenty of time to mope around after I finish uni in 3 months. ugh another thing thats getting me down. So here are my top 5 ideas in trying to keep positive and keep that energy going. Take it slow  - Whatever you need to get done, know your deadline and do it little by little. I was always a criminal in this doing all nighters and non stop working until I got it done, however in this space of time you don’t use your mind to the fullest of its abilities and keep on thinking on the spot and believing that will be the best decision,

Spring Lipstick Picks.

Image
< OCC LipTar in Annika . A very light peach colour that is perfect with very heavy eye looks. MAC Cream Cup . A cream sheen lipstick, gives a wash of baby pink and is super moisturizing >  < Maybelline Colour Drama in Nude Perfection . As said in a previous post this is a great dupe for MACs Velvet Teddy. It is more than a brown nude however compliments all eye looks.  Maybelline Colour Drama in In With Coral . This is a very bright coral, leaning more on the pinky side. Great for spring . >  < Maybelline Colour Drama in Fab Orange . This is a great colour for spring because it isn't an obvious orange. It is great for people who loves a red lip but scared to go to the orange side of things. NARS Audacious Lipstick in Lana . This is also a orange red that is brighter than the maybelline. It is very bright and will go great with a simple eye look and outfit. > < Another added suggestion that I have is LimeCrimes Pink Velve t. This is a ver

February Favorites

Image
This February Favorites doesn't have any make up in, shocking right? When choosing out my favorites I always start looking for what make up favorites that I have been loving in comparison to last months however I didn't really have anything new, so I had to look outside of the make up box and think, what exactly have I been really loving? The first thing I really have to mention is my new iPhone 6. I previously had the iPhone 4s which was in shocking condition, and the battery only lasted half an hour even from full charge. So I really needed an upgrade and I am really happy with it. Still need to sync all of my data on to it though. My case is a clear one however my skin is from  Nuvango  who can create skins for everything. I also have one on my MacBook Air which has been on it ever since I got it and still looks like new. I got the Blueberry pattern because I thought it looked so modern and I do enjoy the odd blueberry compost now and again.    Next favor
