The Modern Renaissance Palette

The palette that everybody went crazy for. I have had this palette now for about a month and I can see what the hype is about. This palette is the first permanent eyeshadow palette that ABH has released. Their eyeshadows have always been a limited edition thing and if you have been an avid collector of these palettes you know that the quality has been getting better with every palette, and as far as this one goes the quality is pretty great.

Something a lot of people have had mixed reviews about is the packaging. A lot of what U have seen online is that they really like it. I personally hate this packaging. This is only because I really don't like the feeling of velvet / suede. Since its a material I can see it getting very dirty very quickly, and i have seen this as youtube who have just bought it have gotten it dirty just a couple of moments after.

As you can see this is a very warm toned palette. I personally like my cool toned shadows however its good that I now have something warm in my collection. If I am being honest there are a couple of shades in this palette that I'll probably never use.  The colours tat I love from this palette are the mauve purple shade and then the more neutral shades such as the browns and then the shimmer shadows. I will not use the bright crimson shades unless I am doing a specific look.

This review of the palette in the post is very hit and miss and I would say that the palette is equal in negativity as it is in positivity. Would I recommend this palette? If I am being honest I am not so sure. If you have palettes already that have warm toned shadows don't buy this as well, but if you want those in one place get it. I also recommend getting it if you use a lot of warm toned shadows for the fall / autumn time of year.  Something that I have to note is that if you are like me and have a lot of redness to your skin, make sure that your base is flawless and that it cancels out the red. This makes sure that you don't look sick when you wear this palette if you choose to use the red shades.

Obviously you don't have to use the red shades because there are other options that are very wearable. I haven't used it at all this summer however I will be making sure that I do use this this fall and embrace the gorgeous period that is fall/ autumn as its the best time of year!

Hope you guys enjoyed this post and let me know what you think of it if you have tried this palette.

Many Thanks x
