Beauty Haul Pt 1 (Oh yes there is more)

Well it was payday and I treated myself to some goodies. I went a really long time without going mental in the shops so with the last loan coming in and payday a few days after I thought I deserved it. Don't exactly know why I did, but I don't need an excuse.

I firstly made a Sephora Order with my friend Zoe because why not? This was the first time i ever ordered anything from Sephora and because we spent over $70 the postage was only £6 excluding taxes and such. It came in a week which was great, so thats why I'm including it into this haul and splitting up the posts into two halves. The two things I got were the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette in Light and the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bachelorette. I know you can get the contour kit over here in the Uk via Cult Beauty, however believe it or not it was cheaper for me to get it over there and to get it shipped here, rather than buying it over here. Make Up in the US is cheaper than over here with the pound to dollar ratio. 

Something I wanted to try since I was it in a magazine, they sponsored it well ha, was the Tangle Teezer Blow- Styling Hairbrush. It claims that it will give a quicker blow dry and for someone who hates drying their hair and who has really thick hair that takes ages to dry I'm all for any product that claims to be fast drying. It isn't what I expected though, the bristles are really hard, however detangles like a dream. Makes me not dread to having to wash my hair at night time or early in the morning now.

The next thing was a repurchase of many times for me. The Collection Lasting Perfecting Concealer is the best for me and I always go back to it. For light skin like mine it is a perfect match and it lasts so long. I mix this with my under eye concealer, use it on my nose for added coverage and also on my chin and forehead to add brightness. Its a great concealer and its only £4.99!

Whilst at Boots I also got a cult favorite Essie Nail Polish in Ballet Slippers. It does take up to three coats to get a really good colour pay off however it is a really easy pink to wear that is not to baby pink but a little more elegant.

Since its now on the verge of summer and all the bright lipsticks will be on my lips I thought I might take teeth whitening seriously. If I was 100% committed to this I would probably get it done at the dentist however Im just looking to go a few shades whiter and brighter. I don't really have pigmented yellow teeth to begin with so I thought that this might be the solution. The Pearl Drops Beauty Sleep Overnight Serum claims to whiten your teeth as well as protect from plaque that builds up while you sleep. I have tried it a couple of times and noticed that where I do get some occasional tea stains after drinking gallons of it during the week have not reemerged, however its still to early to tell a 100%.

A perfume I have had my eye on for a while is the Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Perfume. I was just at boots knowing I needed a new perfume as all of mine have just a couple of spritz left, and I needed a new summer perfume. I have wanted this since it came out however never bought it because of the price tag however when I saw it it was on offer so I thought I'll get the largest size so that it lasts me a good while. I know Mac Jacobs perfume have a thing with their packaging with the huge flower caps which personally I never liked and thought that they looked a little tacky, however I really like the packaging of this one because its more elegant and not in your face.
