March Favorites. Finally.

My March Favorites, why haven't I posted it earlier, forgot about it if i'm honest however its now here!!

I've been showing some serious love for my Real Techniques Bold Metals 201 Contour Brush recently. Not only does this give me a really sharp line, it also blends in the product so smoothly making it look like a natural shadow. Would I recommend this brush? The answer is maybe, and I know thats pretty vague. In some bronzers and even blushes these days you get a little straight brush to apply products, and I know some people throw these away however I find that they give a nice clean line for contour, and these  are what I used for a long time before I invested in this brush. So its up to you what you want to do, however the real techniques brush does blend the product out quicker and better.

I'm not the biggest fake tanner, however I have been feeling like a little pale spring chicken. Using the St. Tropez Self Tanner Bronzing Moose has been a chore that Ive become to enjoy. Leave on for 1 hour to have a light wash of than that is not orange and has a natural olive tone, or leave for up to three hours to have a stronger tan. I always leave it on for three hours just because I think it lasts a little longer. My tan will usually last for up to two weeks, maybe one week before it starts to fade in the usual areas like the inner arms and such. It has been great on the days when there are unexpected days of sunshine and want to show a bit of skin.

The  Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer has been a savior for under the eyes this past few months.  I have used this under my eyes for months now and I really like it. It is not too heavy and by using the beauty blending ir blends into the skin so nicely.I've actually have used it all up now, which is an achievement for me to say the least!

Carrying on for this post is my love for the beauty blender. Blends in concealer and foundation seamlessly. It does take longer than using a brush however it is worth it. My advice would be to use half a pump or your chosen foundation, or half of what you usually use and blend outwards from the center of the face. The beauty blender is meant to be used when wet, and this makes it grow in size, make sure that not a lot of product gets into the sponge and makes it more easy to bounce up and down and blend to get an even finish.

I have never been a huge nail care kinda gal. I have always worn nail polish and been sure to put a base coat on and thats about it. I don't have those crazy growing cuticles or anything, Im actually sure mine don't grow at all, however they do seem to crack. When I got my nails done in October my friend and nail technician at Ffeil a Steil Caernarfon told me that almond oil is great for nourishment and to aid nail growth. What I do is take a cotton bud, dip it into the oil and swipe it on the cuticle and rub it in. I found that my cuticles now don't often crack as much as they did and my nails look better for it.
To go along with this I use the Orly BB Creme Nail Polish. It gives the nails a subtle peachy tint that covers any imperfections you may have but still leaves a natural finish on the nails. With this I do use a top coat just because to is a nail polish so it chips plus I do like a shinny finish on my nails compared to a matte / satin finish.

So those were my favorites, I'll try not to wait as long to post the next one. Hope you enjoyed. Comment down below what your favorites have been and if you have any recommendations.

Many Thanks x
