Lime Crime is a cruelty free Vegan product that I am in love with. Not only that they are vegan they are also amazing quality! I do not have much in my collection however I believe that I have enough to declare my love for this brand! As you can see I own the Venus Grunge Palette and also 3 Velvetines. I shall firstly talk about the Velvetines. These are liquid lipsick/ lip stain. They go on as a gloss however dry to a matte finish. They are quite watery to put on so I suggest first lining the lips to make sure that you create your desired lip shape because if you make a mistake it will be quite hard to remove. However if you are looking for rich, pigmented and SUPER long wearing these are the hippies you should go for. I have Pink, Red and Wicked Velvetine and hoping they bring out more wearable shades for non-crazy lip wearing girls like me. The other LimeCrime product that I have is their Venus Grunge Palette which was released this Halloween. I have to say that this palette is really out of my comfort zone. I have always been a neutral eye kinda gal with maybe possibly a taupe purple in the crease so these are definitely alien for me. However, I really love this palette, not for the everyday, but maybe if I want a little more effort for going out, or if I'm possibly wearing an all black outfit the statement eyes will be out. The question is would I recommend this Palette? the answer is yes IF you want to venture into colour. I think this would be great if you want to try colour on the eye but not go too crazy as all of these colors go really well together and would go really well with any neutral palettes that you already have. However if you are a neutral lover you probably thought no the moment you saw the palette. The palette is really great, pigmented and highly bendable, you might discover something new.
