A Little Something Extra

(Warning this blog post includes bare, un-slayed faces.)  Hello,   my name is Ceri and   I am   a mask addict. I have a mask on every night, and I wish I was joking. Most of the time its a moisturising mask as my face is as dry as the   dessert   but with all of   that   I throw in a detoxing mask 2-3 times a week. I have tried   a lot   of mask brands but what comes on top for me is the GlamGlow masks. I have bought their   original   detoxing mask that really does suck every dirty thing out, but my favourite one is the moisturising one that smells like a tropical paradise. I have run out of these at the moment and it has given me a chance to try other masks from other brands.  However I saw a post on Instagram that Boots have the multi-masking Kit from GlamGlow with deluxe sized samples, and seeing as I've only tried two of their masks, I thought this would be a good opportunity to try out the rest.  So there is their original mask which is their Supermud

Kat Von D - Thin formula and dries quickly, clings on to the lips. One of the best formulas that are on the market in my opinion. Kat Von D has been out in the USA on Sephora for a few years now and to start off with I remember they were selling out like hot cakes. I don't really remember any other brand that sold liquid lipsticks getting as much hype as Kat Von D at that time and for good reason. The cult favourite shade from her line is called Lolita.The formula has been changed twice now for it to be made vegan. I own the latest of the formulation so I cannot compare it to the other two versions, however, it's still one of the top selling shades in her line. I have shades from the lightest to the darkest in the line, and I have to say the formula stays pretty much consistent. The darker shades need a little extra work however once you get it on it lasts for hours. These are the longest wearing liquid lipsticks I own so that's a plus, however, what comes with time

 I know I just did a rather large haul, however, when I went to Boots just to get face wipes I picked up a couple of other beauty items. I thought to myself that I might as well blog about it and see what others have to say about them.  I've been having horrible luck with my mascara recently. I don't know if its because the product itself has changed on me, or whether it's smudging due to the fact that the weather is getting warmer. I am currently using the Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Mascara, and at firs,t it was great and was actually a pain to get off. Now, however, when I come home from work I find it down my cheeks. I have always wanted to try the Maybelline The Falsies, and now they have a waterproof version. The wand looks more like a comb and I am really interested to see it it will stick to its claims and not give my lashes that clumpy look.  Boots currently have an offer for buy one get one-half the price for Maybelline, so I thou
